unit 066 welfare requirments

ive nearly finished this assignment but this last task has stumped me I don't understand any of the questions!!! HELP please!

Task 2
Welfare requirements

Your setting is preparing for its annual self evaluation activity to ensure that it complies with the requirements of the Early Years Framework.
As the person responsible for the day to day management of the care of a group of children you have been asked to produce the following evidence:

• an explanation of how the range of early years settings reflects the scope and purpose of the sector.

• an explanation of the impact of current policies, frameworks and influences on the early years sector

• a description of what is meant by evidence-based practice, giving examples of how this has influenced work with children in their early years

Hi, if you're a registered provider in England the SEF is an ofsted requirement - SEF

For EYMP 3 aka Unit 066, the 2012 EYFS welfare section is necessary reading - framework 2012

EYMP 4 has information for the scope of the child care sector page 278+ of the Heinemann book is good - on amazon.co.uk and also evidence-based practice which would aim to help ensure children aren't experimented on.

Search page will also find threads for you - enter words from your assessment criteria eg. scope and purpose: http://www.silkysteps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13241

Hth xx
