I found this answer on another forum as well :
When I did this last year, our tutor gave us a copy of the HLTA standards in a table form, and we were expected to give examples of ways in which we currently met the standards , where we could (obviously not being HLTAs, we were not able to fully complete it). Its a kind of self-appraisal - What are you doing in school and how does your role fit in against the standards? I would have liked to have been able to share at least the proforma table with you - but my portfolio is still being moderated! Sorry. Good luck - I really enjoyed the course.
