Have you read your own settings policies and procedures on this? Ours states how medication should be stored, how/when it should be if administered etc.
This question should make sense once you've read them.

We also have paperwork that parent needs to sign if medication has been given. The medicines has to be prescribed by a doctor and the medicine has to be label for the child.
