General question Does level 2 count for anything ??

Hello, I wonder if anyone knows if I now HAVE to be level 3 qualified to work in early years (my employers say I do) or can I carry on in my job with my level 2 qualification ?? I am being encouraged to start my level 3 ASAP and i'm a bit anxious, as this is not a good time for me to start studying !!! how much work is this going to involve and how hard is the course ? is anyone else in this position ?

Default

I think this has something to do with the education ed balls saying people have to be level 3 to work with children starting sometime in this year the new diploma is very indepth compared to the ccld but may be try talking to a college and see what they say about courses as they might be changing this course to a 2 years course next year. hope this helps.
