Hi, this involves your personal and professional approach in having consistency of what you do/practice, eye contact, facial expression, body language, listening to children, being welcoming, open, friendly, available, approachable and dependable.

The strategies & techniques listed in the TDA unit are:

• active listening
• avoiding assumptions
• using questions to clarify and check understanding
• summarising and confirming keypoints

Being a 'demonstrate criteria maybe you'll be able to show your assesor places in the room and times where children communicate freely or by design - during seated learning that has expectations of hand raising, creative activities, circle time, show and tell or open play.

The documents and pages on this search will help research & knowlege - TDA Unit 3.5 Develop positive relationships with children, young people and others involved in their care

Hth xx
