Hi welcome to the site, this is about knowing your setting's policies & procedures so that you're able to support & share information with colleagues & by being a positive role model.

The information on this thread is very useful, if you take a read through see how it relates to what you do in your setting eg. how you report accidents, store equipment, undertake risk assessments, clean & tidy..

Best wishes

Hi, welcome to silkysteps

How is health and safety monitored in your setting?

If you're unsure, this qualification requires you to ask them

Print copies of the setting's policies and procedures for health and safety and ask for any information about risk assessments. You may be given a form or copy of an annual report to look through.

Hth best wishes

Hi, every setting will have slightly different policies xx

You need to ask your work place manager, supervisor or lead which ones relate to health, safety and protection.

Best wishes
