Please can someone get me started on

Outcome 2.1 Explain how legislation and codes of practice relating to equality, diversity and discrimination apply to own work role.

This is my very last question on my very last unit and I just can't seem to do it, or get started on it or anything so any help at all would be fantastic?!

I will be so so happy when this is all over - its only taken me 18 months whoops!

Please please help me to cross the finish line xxx

I wrote about the following legislation, think about how it applies to your role:

Every Child Matters/ Children Act 2004 - acronyn SHEEP, Stay safe, Healthy, Enjoy/achieve,Economic wellbeing, Positive contribution.

DDA act 1995/2005 - no one should be discriminated against, everyone should be able to participate, disabled children to attend mainstream school.

SEN code of practice 2001

Human Rights Act 1998 - be treated fairly, freedom of thought/speech/religion, no discrimation due to religion/beliefs/disability, right to be educated etc.

Race Relations Act 1976/2000 - schools to promote racial equality and racial harmony between different groups, all children to improve academically at school.
