working refers to different services, agencies, teams of professionals and other practitioners working together to provide the services that meet the needs of children, their parents and carers."
"Some early years settings, such as nursery schools, may have a simpler form of integrated
working by offering an extended day to support working parents, thus combining early education and childcare. In these ways different agencies can work closely together for the benefit of each child".
is "in house", e.g children's centers and early years settings (surestart) same building providing care and services.
working is either getting services in to the setting or referring the parent/child to outside services
Professionals who may work together to support the child are: Health visitors (speech language therapist), colleagues from other early years settings, advisers, social workers, play specialists, mentors, parents/carers.
Liz 4999 has it spot on.
Hope this helps for this part
