Haven's Fun and Fitness campaign for 2010

The Haven Fun & Fitness campaign in 2010 has now started.

Last year we gave Sports Kits to over 1,000 Early Years settings, helping thousands of children have Fun getting Fit!

There are double the number of places available this year and all the kit is chosen around the curriculum guidelines for Pre-Schools.

All you need to do is register your Pre-School, put up an image and choose your bonus item, and then encourage the parents of the children at your Pre-School to log on and support you. Once 70% of the parents have logged on you will receive the Sports Kit, and if all the parents log on you can receive your bonus item!

To register your Preschool enter the Registration number and ID located on your registration letter, or if you are a member of the PSLA then you can use your membership number and your email in the search box on the home page of the website: www.havenfunfitness.com

Registration for schools wishing to participate ends on 29th December 2009

Once you have registered there are support items on the website to download and give to your parents - reminder letters, step by step guides, as well as posters to put up around your Pre-School. You will also be sent a large poster from the Fun & Fitness campaign with a tracker to show parents how you progressing in reaching your target.

1. This campaign is open to all Pre-Schools who are have registration details from the Have Fun & Fitness campaign and have over 10 children registered at their setting.

3. Campaign is free for Pre-Schools to participate with no purchase necessary required from schools or parents

11. By registering Pre-Schools commit to
a) Distribute information to parents supplied by Haven
b) Keep parents notified of progress by displaying and updating the poster supplied by Haven.
c) Download additional reminders to send to parents if required

4. Pre-Schools will be rewarded for their speed and the first ones to register in this campaign must then go on to obtain a minimum support from parents of 70%

Percentage is measured against/using the number of enrolled children - this information is given at the time the Preschool registers with Haven.

6. As a thank you for their support parents have the option to sign up to receive special offers from Haven. Parents not wishing to receive offers from Haven can opt out

12. Bonus items require 100% parental support measured in the same way and are subject to availability.

13. Any schools who do not reach a minimum of 50% by the 1st March 2010 will be notified and replaced by another school who have registered on the waiting list.

15. Haven will endeavour to deliver all equipment to schools in the month after they have reached their targets.
