some tradional foods are Biriyani ( savoury rice) Thats a good one because the children could cut the veg into very small pieces, once the rice is cooked they could mix in the veg and perhaps small pieces of cooked chicken. The other traditions are sweet pastries which again the kids can make...... have them make the pastry and wrap it around perhaps dried fruits , wrap them up and then bake them...... cooking activities are great for assesors to see or hear about because you can cover a lot, . .. .. measuring, sharing, taking turns, communication and knowledge and understanding ( seeing how things change from liquids to solids etc
