I wrote a few paragraphs on each of the theorists and then looked at how each theorie is practiced in my setting

example: • Ivan Pavlov – Classical Conditioning
Ivan Pavlov believed that people learn to associate or anticipate events by previous experiences.
His research was based on studying dogs and the way they would salivate and associate the arrival of their food with the sound of a bell or the events leading up to being fed. He also experimented by ringing the bell and not offering food, he found that gradually the dogs stopped responding to the bell.

How this is used in our setting:
Classical Conditioning:
• Using daily routines so that children know what to expect
• Recognising if a child is frightened of something and finding an alternative e.g. if they do not want to use the toilet then having a potty available, if they don’t like using the hand dryer then having paper towels available
