Having contacted my tutor she suggests that the prevention part is to do with those things that can be done during pregnancy to prevent an additional need such as smoking in pregnancy or environmental factors such as using a dummy and the impact that might have on speech development.
If anyone has any other thoughts they would be much appreciated. Specifically on the aspects that could be prevented and how this differs from those aspects that require early intervention? Thanks x
