Thanks for your reply. I also wrote how for some children just "having a go" at something new would be a challenge for them. Also taking a risk on the climbing frame judging for themselves how to climb or where to jump off would also be a challenge they need to assess the challenge and decide if they can manage for themselves. Also allowing children to deal with conflict for themselves would teach them to face the challenge of maybe saying "no" if we didnt give them this opportunity they would not learn how to face the challenge if we intervened too soon. Do you think im on the right track? As you may guess I do woffle on a bit but i figure if i write enough maybe the answer will be in their somewhere. lol
