Parents can contribute by telling you of their childs interests, what they did on holiday/over the weekend, you can then build on that experience within the setting. Decision making can be helped by, if you are planning to change anything within the setting you could send out a questionaire to the parents asking for thier thoughts on this issue, you can then make a decision based on the response.
