You should have contact details for your training provider - I would give them a call and explain the problem. The information you have been given is incorrect.

Hi Pip, Am doing Nvq 3, the book i have is children's learning and development by penny tassoni, kath bulman and kate beith Heinemann.
we have to complete 9 units=
in the book it says 301, 302, 303, 304, 305 is compulsory and mandatory
4 optional units = there are 8 units in optional 1 and 33 in optional 2. this is whre i choose which age i work with not the mandatory
so i have to do them now arghh
