remember to research legislation that relates to the home nation you work in ie. in England or Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. Because some legislation is shared between the nations, some is adopted as Best Practice and some relates solely to the home nation.)
*policies and procedures these are the policies and procedures your setting has for safeguarding, confidentiality, child protection, equality, diversity and rights. You will need to ask for copies so you know what your setting expects of you and you can include some of the information they contain in your responses for the course.
