If you dont have a degree or hnd you can do an apprenticeship which gives you the practical experience through a placement in a school, money in your pocket and also a qualification to go with it usually the supporting teaching and learning in schools qualification....i would look in to that I couldnt get on it because I already have a higher qualification but its in a different field to working with children.

The age limit used to be 16-24. But the government has changed this and there is no age limit anymore.
