This is the recipe for making an erupting volcano!
Frothing Lava
1 teaspoon of baking soda
Red food colouring
1/2 cup of vinegar
- Mix the vinegar with the food colouring.
- Put the baking Soda inside the volcano.
- When everyone is ready ............. Pour the Vinegar mix into the Volcano and stand well back!!
VOLCANOES
Make a volcano out of an a 2lt bottle.
Cut off the top section and model/mould clay, or Paper mache (if you have lots of time to let it dry!) around it.
Once you have a basic volcano shape allow it to dry.
Decorate and paint it with red & Grey acrylic paint.
Glue on Green fabric strips etc for grass & trees.
