Hi welcome to the site.

The first is asking, as an early years practitioner? how do you help the community (parents, groups, local business, charity groups, friends, family) understand different cultures and beliefs.

You work directly with children from a range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds? and live within a local community coming into contact with others? What you know about the children's culture, their beliefs, traditions and lifestyles can potentially help others understand as well.

Sources of information can include your colleagues, the setting's policies eg. Equal opportunities, SEN, EYFS framework (if you work in england), parents and families, organisations that specialise in equality issues. What it means by assess is to consider who/what the source is, how relevant and useful it might be.

Page 131 of this level 3 handbook goes into greater detail

Hope this helps, best wishes
