We have been encouraged to create a CPD _ Continuous Professional Development, in a folder.

In which we have all of our courses done to date (certficates or dates achieved if no certificate)

Then we also have to show which courses we are current doing (NVQ 3 CCLD) in my case

We also show which courses we are going to apply for, and where we what we would like to achieve.

I am told it doesn't matter if we change our minds about the plan, as this shows that we are reassessing our own needs and the needs of our work.

For example maybe I intend to do a certain course, but when the time comes to book that course, I am working with a child with SEN. Then I might adapt my own CPD so that I can extend my own knowledge and also be able to meet the needs of the child.

Of course it may be possible to do many different training courses, but I find many of the ones I am interested in either clash with each other, or I cannot make them due to lack of childcare

Gosh I hope I have explained this right.
