Hi, speak to your course provider and ask them to provide you with a list of recommended reading, check what support your tutor is expected to give and request copies of all you course's learner materials.
It's possible your work placement will have books that will help you research, if not there are books on amazon that you can use to gain a greater knowledge & understanding about theorists and their theories -
