Sometimes, it's easier to turn the question around and put an easier one in your head. It might be easier to think of
'is everything safe where the children are/ going to go/or play with/or use?
Do I need to change/adapt/mend or replace anything to make it safe?
Then you might think '..actually that pram the children use has rather a long bolt on which they could hurt themselves on' and then you'd see to it probably by sawing it to the correct length or replacing it with a smaller bolt.
