In addition to information about legislation and national guidelines, you'll need the
EYFS framework (if you work in england) your setting's safeguarding policy/ies which should link to the procedures for safeguarding - the way things happen in the setting to ensure everyone remains safe and healthy.
For example 1.2aa - Arrival and departure of children
Does your setting have a staff member greeting parents and children when they arrive so that visitors are known, booked in? (fire regulations) and how does the setting monitor who children are collected by when it's time to leave. Are entrances to the setting locked after arrivals and departures to prevent unauthorised entry?
