Hi a warm welcome to the site.

You can read about this from an Early Years perspective in this handbook
search inside for multi agency and click to page 171.
search 'duty of care' page 43
search 'sector' and page 36 to read about how your role links to the wider sector

The wider sector for residential care would include ofsted, social services, health services, the police, youth justice teams, local schools, early years settings, trade union, services that are available in your area for care leavers or looked after children, clubs and groups which like you will employ professionals whose role and responsibilities link to the wider sector of providing stable secure care for vulnerable children and young people.

Which organisations does your setting have contact with and how does your role as a professional link into that eg. your duty of care, safeguarding skills, knowledge of the children and the support you're able to offer in the setting?

Hope this helps a little xx
