i dont think so Sarah! times have changed! assessors aren't allowed to prompt or lead they ask a question delivered using the assessment criteria verbs and if the learners doesn't understand or cant answer them then they are required to mark as not competent yet and leave it for next time.
the whole point of the new courses is to raise the bar not carry people over it. unless of course Willa is doing the old NVQ thn not only can the assessor lead coax encourage but prob answer the question for her!
Willa just be=ahve ligke tyou rnromally do, talk all the time to your peers and the children and if you dont meet a criteria then she will cover it next time.
