If you or your group needs information on Gluten Free issues these are a few links to help start things off ~ if anyone knows of a good eNewsletter that is aimed at the Early Years sector & contains upto date information on current news & thinking for this topic .. please let us know.

Coaliac.co.uk have a useful FAQs page that you can use to help inform your parents or make your own leaflet to hand out ... as an Adult NHS.uk has a good selection of 'Questions to ask

RECIPES
Feed Me allergy Free.co.uk is a fellow wah website offering a recipe book based on the experiences and solutions the Author went through with her family ~ Feed me Allergy Free Recipe Book

Other good Gluten free recipes lists & websites ...
  • Recipes from BBC.co.uk
  • Taste.com.au ~ Australian website with a very nice selection of Gluten free recipes ... check though as not all are actually labelled (Gluten Free) on the front page but seem to be on their individual page !!
Online UK Supermarkets that provide the service to buy the recipe's ingredients online !!
Asda's recipe section doesn't return any results for Gluten free .. but does have a Vegetarian select option !!
Morrisons, Iceland, somerfield & Co-operative have yet to add this shopping facility to their virtual presence !!

Please check delivery details though & that they operate in your area ~ if you know any more shops UK or worldwide that have a ingredient locator service .. please post & let us know

There are a few variations on the gluten free symbol - but basically an ear of corn with a strike through seems to be the most common.
