Hi, a warm welcome to the site. On page 39+ of the
NVQ level 3 playwork handbook
it explains the policy and legislation that playwork settings need to be aware of and how individual playworkers form part of a team.
Clarifying responsibilities and duties with the agreement of colleagues ensures that everyone knows what each member of the team is doing, why they're doing it and how. This makes sure that standards are met for reasons of health and safeguarding.
Understanding the importance of sorting out any duties or responsibilities which are unclear means recognising that as qualified playworkers each has a duty to carry out the responsibilities a job contract states and those that have been agreed with colleagues. If you're uncertain or confused as to what they are it'll be left to chance and luck that you meet legally required safety standards and the expectations of the playwork organisation/setting.
