Hi, the disadvantage that children experience due to them living in poverty affects their outcomes/life chances because 'material deprivation' and low income or a lack of money means opportunities to do things are limited, for example learning and leisure activities (trips, visits, clubs, interest groups) and home basics such as food, heating and clothing. The despair involved with poverty impacts on personal choices which can affect the likelihood of addiction, neglect, struggles with behaviour and to be discriminated against.
