Hi the B.1 unit contains helpful pointers - Develop and evaluate operational plans for own area of responsibility

Specific risks will depend on the responsibilities linked to your role/job description, which might be;

Finances - fees, wages, funding, sustainability
Staff management - employment, turn over, complaints,
Inspection - implementing your home nation's early years framework (england's EYFS?)
Policy & procedure management - reviews, amendments, adoption, cascading & sharing information
Training
Working in partnership
Health & safety
Safeguarding
Child Protection
Transitions
Child development records
Activity planning

Risk assessment - money, enthusiastic team, convenient times and provision of time, reasons for staff turnover, safe spaces - buildings inside and outside. Is there confusion as to who to turn to/report in different situations, is training available?

A copy of the setting's business plan, it's prospectus, policies & procedures, meeting schedules, agendas and its self evaluation form will all help you identify how things operate.

Operational plans for early years settings - google search

Leadership in Early Years book

Hope this helps a little
