As this course is from birth to 19 you need to include young people also so with this in mind think about wider age range:-
Friends
A releativly passive child may befriend someone who is more boisterous, aggressive and display unwanted behaviour. - how could this affect the first child, might they develop unhealthy habbits of negative behaviour? Whilst children have the right to choose their own friends (UN rights of a child) how could practitioners encourage a healthier friendship?

Computer games/social netowrk sites
If a child is always wanting to play on computers how would this affect their physical, social and emotional development? What if they play ganes that are violent, aimed at an older market? Could this have an affect on their behaviour? how could practitioners promote a healthier choice for the child.
Poor diet - affects on health and development
Smoking, drinking, druga and solvent abuse - short term and long term affects on their life chances.
Underage/unprotected sex - what could happen

If children are armed with the facts about decisions they may face they are more likely to make an informed choice and less likely to allow peer pressure to influence them.
Hope this hepls
