Activity stickers

I was wondering if anyone uses stickers as a way of communicating with parents ?

The same dilema crops up again where the parents love seeing what their children have been up to in Playgroup ~ with, wherever possible a piece of 'art work.. it's natural and should be encouraged, as it bonds parent, child and setting but with preschools concentrating greatly on free flow and open choice activities we know it isnt always appropriate to have the children do activities just for something to show ..

However this is also true of Primary school ~ it's like trying to wring out a dry sponge when asking my Ds about his day at school lol ..

BUT he came home with the good old '' bumped head sticker one day and it opened up / reminded him of so much that had happened we had our best 'school chat ever !!!

So was thinking along the lines of stickers that said

'We played Aeroplanes (etc) today'
'I built with lego at Preschool today' ...
