Hi, welcome to the site. Don't feel overwhelmed, be professional and get in touch with your tutor/assessor/course provider and explain how you're feeling.

Ask for a list of recommended reading and what books and other materials they have available for you to loan. Ask for a timetable/schedule of setting visits/observations and ensure they are aware you want to know in advance what will be observed so that you can plan and know what to organise for presenting appropriate evidence/working documents.
