Ensure that others are aware of relevant information about healthy lifestyles for children's well-being, including healthy eating and exercise, the possible effects of food allergies and the importance of closely liasing with parents.

So far I have got how I discuss these aspects with staff and implement this into the service, what the effects of allergies are and how we collate information before any child starts regarding allergies and how we keep this up to date.

hope i'm going in the write direction but any further pointers would be great.

thanks.
I presume the aspects you will write of is your policy and your procedures that cover this if you are dealing with parents..

Also there's an element of encouragement by way of providing information to parents -perhaps this is showing/offering for parents to see your policies (including your healthy eating/ curriculum with physical and outdoor play and informing parents that food, healthy eating and exercise is covered in the curriculum in various ways).

You may give parents information/booklets etc on what your snacks/meals comprise of or what is suggested/encouraged if a child brings a packed lunch. You may have posters on your notice board i.e. the eat well plate, Five-a-Day etc.

If the context of this question is that 'others' are colleagues - well how do you and your setting ensure that everyone knows what you do? such as training, courses, meetings, sharing knowledge, recording, evaluating/changing systems/methods if needs be etc
