There has been a cut in the number of days people can attend day services. If a learning disabled person is in residential care the city has decided that they can't have day care. So people who attended days at day care have been told they can no longer go. One person at our small project has been told by the council that they can no longer come to us as they are no longer eligible for any day care. Any new people who want to come to our service will be eligible for smaller care packages which means less days at day care. Hence our market is reducing which reduces people's opportunity and choice.
