Why are you doing a level 4?
As it is considered to be for senior practitioners.
It's a long time to be away from a sector, to go straight onto do a level 4.
Conditions and curriculums have changed more than once since you left the sector and it was a very basic and easy thing you did not understand.

Whoever I employ, (whatever their qualification) I wouldn't expect someone to do a level 4 because of a qualification they gained over two decades ago. It wouldn't be fair on them, the setting or the children.

It might have been kinder for you to do a level 3 for you to come up to speed on today's philosophy and practice. I hope you have had some say in the matter, as you say yourself, things have changed vastly and I hope that you are not just having to fill in the 'level 4 slot' in your setting.
