what problems might a child have if they are in a setting that speaks a different language to them or more than one language? how might it affect their learning creativity and development?

if the child does not understand the language or is having to learn a second one then their learning might be delayed (ADD QUOTE) if they dont understand what is being said they might feel icolated, frustrated and find it hard to make friends, they may also not be able to express themselfs verbally and this may affect their creativity and make them feel repressed....they may take longer to learn new things, follow routienes etc at home they may only use one language or a different one to the setting this may cause confusion or problems learning as the parents may not be able to encourage the new language as they cant speak it...

however vygotsky says that we are born with the enate ability to speak any language and therefore....

talk bout the diff areas of development, learning etc

sorry quick answer hope it helps a little though
