Foundation Degree or BA

I have no idea which i want to do but i want to have set in my mind what i want to do after my level 3

Also am i right in saying that if i did the FD i could do just one year of BA to make up my hons ?

yep doing the fd first means a one year top up and good way of doing esp as lots of authorities are funding this at the moment BUT and i am not trying to out you off i really am not BUT if you haven't done A levels then please please do an academic course first. like intro to academic writing. A levels are the forecourse to a degree the unis don't make any allowances or give any support to students who have earned their place via the vocational route. the difference between an nvq3 and an FD is gigantic not just in content but much more crucially on style. vocational writing ie reflective writing is completely unacceptable and from your first assignment you will be marked down for it. there are quite of lot of these academic writing courses and well well worth doing as a lead up to your degree. good luck!

yeah i did 3 A levels and an As

just wanted peoples opinions because i haven't got any contact with those who have undertaken either of these and was generally looking at peoples views on them both

I did the FD then topped up the BAhons.
FD was fundied........the BAhons year I had to pay myself.
If I had chosen the EYPs I would have been funded to BA level, but without the hons bit- but I wanted the full degree for 'myself' so chose that route.
I shall possibly do the EYPs bit eventually, but I keep putting it off as I'm not sure I fully agree with some of the pathways......but that's just my personal view.:) :) :) xxxx
