The Scent of Summer

I got asked this question by my Mother-Out-Law, and I wondered what your answers would be:

What, to you, does Summer smell like?

For me it's fresh cut grass and charcoal with a backdrop of lilac - takes me back to my childhood!:cheerful:

yes to the fresh cut grass, but also roses, lavender, barbecues and tarmac when there's just been a shower and the hot sun is drying it up...

Cut grass, Fresh salad & a well known Sun cream lol !

Summer 'feels' like ... a cool breeze, sand beneath the foot and the sound of the sea :)

Summer

Suntan oil! children playing outside!people sitting outside the pub!cricket!the smell of grass, vegetables sprouting!! Smiling faces! being able to walk without coats!! Ice cream vans !for me feeling really relaxed ,being able to go and sit on the beach, watching the children explore the rock pools whilst I sit and watch !
Watching the sheep, cows explore whilst I sit in my garden. What a wonderful unstressful life I have!!
