Non contact time?

Hi - can I ask people from pre school settings how much time you get paid for outside of session time for planning, writing up etc. Would be good to know for supervisors and for staff. Thank you!

hi, my friend is a pre-school leader and I know she doesn't get a lot. I think it varies between settings, but she always has to do work at home which is far beyond the time allocated for her. I can't remember how many hours she gets but I know she needs a lot more!

I get 2 hours xtra a week for planning but that doesn't include anything else, as the preschool leader i feel that depending on how succesful you want things to be means that there is a lot of unpaid jobs/paperwork as part of the role, i am at present sat doing childrens reports! What i tend to do is once a fortnight i get staff together to do the dreaded SEF form and put in as xtra paid hours, but inputing them is in my own time. We are at present only sessional looking into a lunch club and financially we couldn't manage if i claimed for every hour i spent doing xtras
