Schools Recruitment Service: deadline for early adopters approaching
 

The Department is due to launch its online Schools Recruitment Service in spring 2009. The service is being developed to create a more efficient, standardised application system for schools and local authorities through automation of routine administrative processes, better intelligence about candidate behaviour and attraction, and informed media performance. Schools and LAs that want to become Early Adopters must let the Department know by the deadline of Tuesday 31 March 2009. The service will be exhibiting at several educational conferences this year: Education Show (26-28 March), NAHT Annual Conference (1-3 May), NCSL Annual Leadership Conference (10-12 June), NCSL School Business Managers' Conference (22-23 June) and NASBM Conference (12-13 November).
