crb & disclosure website
 

I've just revisited this/these site ~ it was relaunched in Dec 05 because having 2 seperate websites was causing great confusion ... what I hadn't realised is that the now one website, still allows you to browse under each each original title name!! :sarcastic :blindfold

It may just be me - but I'd of thought it made more sense to have just one domain name that everyone can get used to :dizzy: ???

www.disclosure.gov.uk + www.crb.gov.uk = should equal what ?... my thoughts are www.crb.gov.uk what are everyone elses views on this?

Have a question..which is confusing me!:irked:
Can you download CRB forms from the website...or do you have to use an umbrella company to do this for you?..

Unusual not to have a downloadable version for people to get to grips with beforehand, maybe to make sure only those eligible for a check are processed/charged & perhaps for reasons of fraud !? :dizzy:

Are individual forms numbered ? Let us know what they say & if this is wrong :thumbsup: !!

CRB forms are individually numbered , when we send one off we have to keep a record of the number , and date we send it off . We have to use one of the companies recommended by Ofsted as they pay the fee for the check, not us as a setting. We registered with one and then we had to register who would be doing verifying IDs with them as well, so only named persons can verify identities.

They sent us a pack with lots of forms in it that we keep at the setting, need more just phone.

Our Committee Chairperson was the named registered/suitable person with the authority to verify ID.
