Unit 428 - Health and safety
 

Hi everyone,
I have got a bit stuck on my Health and Safety Unit, (428) -
K28K09 - Ways of developing a culture in your area of responsibility that puts health and safety first.
Im also a bit stuck on:
K28K15 - Sector specific legislation, registration, guidelines and codes of practice relating to health and safety. Just not sure what 'sector specific' means really!
If anyone could help, or even just point me in the right direction, i'd be really grateful! Just got a mental block! If i never hear the words 'health and safety' again i'd be ecstatic!!

sector specific.. just means relevant to the work you do.. as it can vary between school, pre-school , nursery, etc. So look at H&S for your type of setting and what is needed.. they must have a H&S policy to use as a starting point.

For 409 think about what you do to encourage everyone in your setting to think about h & s. How often you review it etc.

415 is like noah said, and also think Ofsted and acts!
