programmed learners
 

can anyone shead a little ray of light on the term 'programmed learners' for me.
i have searched and searched but still i not sure exactly what it means..
is it that a child is pre-programmed to learn skills like language???
i have googled it but havent come up with anything, my mind is a bit scrabbled with this unit. :dizzy:
am i on the right tracks????

Hiya, I've not read through much myself but would say it might be the evolutionary way we are programmed to learn .. or to be able to switch off when necessary :D

It does sound quite automated but would think it also means our disposition to learning - from the immediate environment / provision of others and the ability to commit to memory/experience and use it as reflection, future recall/action ?
