K4S795: indicators are there of child abuse and approprite responses to disclosure
help me with this question, what indicators are there of child abuse and approprite responses to disclosure of abuse, according to age, needs and abilities
|
Can i Just ask, have you done any childcare training previously to level four? If so child protection will have been covered in-depth within level three.
|
yes i have i just wanted some advice on how to write this. I work within the childrens high risk protection. But that doesn't mean i know how to write up the answer.
|
Start of by naming the types of abuse e.g
physical, • An explanation which is inconsistent with an injury • Several different explanations provided for an injury emotional • Frozen watchfulness, particularly in pre-school children • Low self esteem and lack of confidence these are just a couple of examples there are more, the child's age, ability will be extremely important factor, as they may not be able to communicate effectively, they may have extra needs and will therefore be unable to ask or seek help |
thanks, thats what i was doing so am on the right track:spin:

Apologies for bumping this thread - I've just come across SafeguardingChildren.co.uk which is North Yorkshire's SCB ... It could be an excellent source of information for this knowledge evidence - posted for anyone looking for further links.

If you have done level 3 previously you should be able to cross reference the work you did for that into your level 4 so you don't have to re-do it all.x
