Plug Board Advertising ..
 

Plug Board Advertising is a new section of Silkysteps that has been launched to replace the old topsites list.

Its aim is to help promote websites that are forging a path in their Online presence activities !!

There's not a huge amount of free advertising opportunities out there so if you know someone who would benefit from this .. pass on the details & ask them to stop by :cheerful:

To plug your site all you need to do is send an email to - plugboard@silkysteps.com

Include your website url (no deeplinks to pages please) and max of 10 alt text words describing your business/ Art, craft or Childcare website (this is optional.)

We will then stop by your site - screenshot the front page & upload it to the Plug board - PLEASE only submit details if you are ok having a screenshot taken !

The plug board works quite simply & fairly by only displaying a set number of 'Plugs at any one time.

This will currently be set to 60 websites.

Once that number has been reached any new plug board submission will 'knock off the last one .. hopefully keeping the board fresh and interesting to readers.

We can only accept one Plug for each individual website - if you have 2 or more separate domains then each stands in its own right & details can be sent in - Once your website plug has fallen off of the board you are free to re submit its details.

The board will be operated manaully to begin with .. so flood control, spam submissions and odd activity will be taken note of.

You will be able to check the speed at which the board is moving by the Alt text date which will be added to all plugs.
