Fresh Drinking water for Secondary Schools.

As of September 2007 a new drinking water standard comes into force and requires secondary schools to make the provision for continual access to FREE fresh drinking water.

Thank goodness for that! my eldest goes to the local high school and doesn't drink nearly enough during an average day - she takes a bottle of water with her but can't carry a big one and invariably it's not refilled during the day....My youngest is about to start and needs more liquid than the average bunny so i was a little worried about how he would access it - think i'll challenge the school in Sept to see how they've implemented the new requirements!

About time too. I was fortunate in that the secondary school I attended had drinking fountains round almost every corner. :cheerful:
