Hi, do you have access to this level 2 Early Years Practitioner book?

Information relating to the theorhetical perspectives of each of these areas and how they underpin the current framework -EYFS (if you work in England) can be found across Unit 5: Understand how to support children's development. Pages 103+ are good reading, a table lays out
  • Cognitive development
  • Speech, language and communication development
  • Physical development
  • Social and emotional development
and links an area to other areas of development, and to the EYFS.

page 105 looks at the Holistic approach
page 108 explores nature and nurture
page 112/3 expains attachment theory

There's alot of research to do to cover these areas of children's development, do you know what teaching your tutor has planned to help you?

Best wishes xx
