Hi, information sharing & communication are effective ways to ensure everyone knows what's what, where, how & why.

Does the daily routine support you being a leader and give opportunities for staff/colleagues to come to you?
Are you able to monitor & evalute the environment to see if it supports healthy child development and staff.
What policies does the setting have and does everyone have copies, are there times where you can revisit them, keeping things fresh & understood eg. what get togethers happen - meetings, updates
Do you look for training opportunities
Do you look for resources that support an awareness of resillience & well-being.
Is there time to share these ideas.
Do you liase with external agencies & designated individuals so that you're upto date with changes to their policy & procedures eg. reporting, referrals, paperwork to use, contact details. How does this impact on daily practice - how are notes, observations made & recorded.
How positive is the ethos of the setting towards supporting resillience & well-being
Does the setting have an appraisal system in place.

Resillience & well-being link to safeguarding through confidence, the type of relationships that exist in & around the setting, a sense of belonging or familiarity, self-identity & an awareness of the value individuals have, personal and collective rights. Maybe also consider how the ethos or culture of a setting can be positive and/or negative when thinking about safeguarding, resillience & well-being.

There's good reading here - http://www.leedsinitiative.org/Risk_and_Resilience.aspx

Hope this helps a little
