Legislation and how it affects work on a daily basis

Hi Charlie, I'm also doing a question on legislation children act 1989, 2004, the education act 2002, working together to safeguard children 2006/10 & heath & safety at work act 1974. I have to describe the key points of guidelines and legislation, and this is the bit I need help on, how these guidelines affect the day to day work with young children. There is plenty of info on the net on these acts, but I feel a bit stuck itch no one to ask? Is that similar to what you've got to do? I'm new on here.....maybe if your doing the same, we can help one another.

Hi Charlie I'm doing mine at home without any experience and no assessor! I do have a tutor, but I have to wait sooooooooo long for help! Struggling with this question as it wants how these laws affect daily work in the setting! Hard going, but anything worth doing will be I guess, so I must stick it out!

you should have done a level 2 first! would you do a maths A level without the gcse??

charlie67 10-10-2013 05:25 PM

I have 3 years experience in early years and have attended lots of courses through my work, so I was told that I did not need to go through my level 2

Hi, there's a page here for 3.1 if you've access to a level 3 handbook you'll find it a great source of support - cache on amazon

Best wishes

yep they always say that yet here you are having difficulty with basic questions.......its not 'going through' level 2 its taking time to make sure you know your law and development before you take the A level course. the best practitioners take time with their learning others rush through
