Hi all, am stuck yet again lol just this question I cannot get my head around it :/

Give a minimum of 3 examples on how to support children and young people according to their age, needs and abilities to make personal choices and experiences that have a positive impact on their lives.

Really don't get it lol is there anything in the cypw heinemann book at all??

CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dizzy:

hia just found it. this is what i've wrote but havent had it checked yet.

You need to acknowledge and value the child or young person’s voice whenever possible in the planning process. You need to take into account the needs of the children and young people in your care. Children who learn to express their own needs also learn to consider the needs of others. They may develop skills of cooperation, negotiation and problem-solving.

If you involve the children and young people and respect their ideas and their capabilities, they grow in confidence and self-esteem. One way of involving the children and young people, is to get them to help you plan activities they would like to do or get them

You need plan a wide range of activities to suit the children’s age, needs and abilities and give them a choice of what they can do.
